VCGamers: Connecting games with blockchain technology
Let’s start by introducing what VCGamers is all about.
VCGamers is a web and app-based gaming social commerce platform which provides all your gaming needs in one place. We allow gamers to interact, socialize, compete, create content, trade directly, and even list your NFT assets on our marketplace, all in one platform.
VCGamers Journey:
In Q1 2022, we decided to expand our utility to the blockchain ecosystem to reach a wider community to enjoy our services. We dream big and we believe in the idea that blockchain technology is a tailor-made solution to enhance gaming experience.
In January, we launched $VCG, which runs on the Binance Smart Chain and is built on top of a game-agnostic and platform-agnostic social commerce network. Any games or metaverses linked to it will benefit from VCGamers pre-existing infrastructure, community, and features, including token staking and NFT marketplace.
In the future, VCGamers will eventually launch its own launchpad and its own smart chain for creators or partners to launch their own Web3 projects, especially in gaming.
In just three months, we successfully gained significant progress below:
In addition, in early Q2 2022 RansVerse has also been launched as the first metaverse project in Indonesia, a collaboration between RANS Entertainment, Shinta VR, UpBanx, and VCGamers.
Why VCGamers?
Now we go to a one-million-dollar question. Why VCGamers? Why not others?
Perhaps, it’s also a question that we will ask ourselves to begin with a crypto project. If we have made a successful gaming platform previously, why bother to expand it to blockchain technology?
Let’s start discussing about the potential of gaming industry and what it means to crypto community:
Gaming is the tipping point for blockchain mass adoption
Experts say gaming will be the first real use case for blockchain, revamping the industry and making games more immersive than ever. How gaming navigates the remaining hurdles will become a case study for other industries considering mass blockchain adoption.
Blockchain technology is on the rise. It’s predicted that it will grow massively and start to be adopted by a variety of industries in coming years. Since 2013, the capital invested in blockchain has always been increased.
Based on two statistics above, the global games market also grows steadily, both in revenues and compound annual growth rates. In fact, a new report from analyst firm GlobalData today estimates the mobile gaming market will be worth $272 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 11%.
In terms of market and potential, it is no brainer that people are going in that direction. Combination of blockchain mass adoption and increasing interest in the gaming industry globally have put $VCG into a great momentum riding the wave of this trend.
However, we don’t only see trend, we see the value
Trend and opportunities are the key drivers of what we want to develop but it’s not the main driver why we want to build the VCGamers ecosystem.
We believe in the idea that every gamer should have the opportunity to maximize their gaming experience. Connecting them with these new technologies, Web3 & Blockchain, would enable them to gain more access to the benefits of being a gamer. Play to Earn is on the rise now, and we believe that more gamers should be facilitated to gain those access.
In the current status quo, many games are not connected to these technologies, and it’s awfully difficult for them to adapt to such massive infrastructures. Hence, we dream that all gamers, regardless of their taste, their age, or their gaming platform, could have an experience on how to get access to blockchain and web3 technology. If none of the crypto projects have done that, then we should start it.
So, imagine your favorite games like Ragnarok, Fish Frenzy, or Monopoly could be connected to Web3. More people will enjoy these features and hopefully we can give them as many accesses to know more about blockchain and its benefits for the gaming industry.
Where are we now?
We keep growing and keep striving. At the moment, we are not in the process to list on several centralized exchanges, including GateIo and Tokocrypto. We also will enable Cross-chain enablement to Polygon and Solana.
We will also build NFT Marketplace this quarter and create surprise collaborations with our strategic partners, brands, and influencers.
On top of that, the Roadmap V2 launch will be coming soon with more great marketing plans and features activation!
First gaming launchpad project: RansVerse
Our first project is called RansVerse. It’s a metaverse owned RANS Entertainment that aims to connect all brands, content creators, gamers, and metaverse enthusiasts to interact with each other. Inspired by the already successful project $MANA is Decentraland, we will create a virtual reality where others can enjoy exclusive activities in RansVerse without having to worry about going there physically.
RansVerse is a collaboration leading companies in their expertise as follow:
Everyone can enjoy RansVerse, and we aim to create economic activities there. 25% of each transaction in RansVerse will be given to holders through a staking pool.
Other than that, people who own the land can enjoy exclusive activities there such as but not limited to renting the land, holding a concert, streaming a platform, playing a game, or simply investing on it.
We are now on the wave one stage and currently open for Pre-Initial Land Offering (Pre-ILO) phase which is dedicated for our strategic partners that want to build a long-term activity with RansVerse. We are now discussing with 17 brands, State-owned enterprises, and others that are interested in buying our land to work with us in RansVerse.
ILO wave one will commence in May, which will be in the format of fair launch. Everyone has a fair chance to buy the land in metaverse owned by RANS Entertainment.
